Who is DJ Snake?
The French rapper William Sami Etienn Grigahcine records and performs under the name DJ Snake, and has been a global success since 2013 with the release of "Turn Down for What". He began performing in 2009, operating strictly as a club DJ. In 2005 he was discovered by his manager and encouraged to make his own sound, which is a blend of electronic dance and trap music. Within six years he was producing for Lady Gaga, earning a Grammy nomination, but it was when he produced his independent material that he became a mainstream sensation. Since that time, he has enjoyed multiple platinum certifications and appears often with some of the music industry's top names, include Kanye West.
