The rock band Arctic Monkeys came together in 2002 in the High Green suburb of Sheffield, England. Members are Alex Turner, Matt Helders, Jamie Cook and Nick O’Malley. Arctic Monkeys has released five studio albums, the first being Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not from 2006. It is ranked as the fastest-selling debut album by a band in the history of British sales charts. They’ve won seven Brit Awards and been nominated three times for a Grammy Award. In 2013, they released the album AM, which reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. It has also sold more than 500,000 copies in the United States.
