Thoughts on Songs with Barry Manilow

the best thing about this song is that it's never clear if he's dreaming of someone that he's had before of it's an unrequited love. Basically, when dreaming, you can have anyone in the world. It doesn't matter if you know him/her, if you've ever even met. In dreams, you can be friends, lovers, and whatever else really. The possibilities are endless. And here he talks about having someone in his dreams and doing whatever he wants.
