BLØF was officially founded in 1992, in Middelburg. The original lineup was composed of the members Peter Slager, Paskal Jakobsen, BAS KENNIS and Henk Tjoonk. Over the course of six years, the group had released nine records with multiple hit songs, and performed many sold-out performances. Their song Aan De Kust (At the coast) from their debut album Naakt onder de hemel (Naked under the sky) is considered to be the new anthem of the province Zeeland, because the song is about this province.
Thoughts on Songs with BLØF

Again, Spain is a metaphor. It's about moving on to different things and people all the time. Not being happy with a person for a long time and so, consider every new person a "vacation" a way to be with someone to forget the worries that are already there due to other things. In the song there are alternations all the time between somewhere new and someone new. That says a lot. And Spain is also seen as an idea that could be there when things get boring, not all the time.
