1998 to 2005
Bomfunk MC'S were a Finnish breakbeat and hip-hop supergroup formed in 1997 by Ismo "Gismo" Lappalainen and Raymond "B.O.Dubb" Ebanks, whose hit Freestyler became 1999's best-selling single in Europe. The band were together until around 2005 when they faded from the public eye and ceased to release any work. The current situation of the band is not known for sure, and no certain answer as to whether they are still together or will make music in the future is clear. The band's primary songwriters were it's producer Jaakko "JS16" Salovaara and MC Raymond "B.O.Dubb" Ebanks.
Thoughts on Songs with Bomfunk MC’s
This is a cool song about a perspective of life we all frequenty need to tend to, that of just living it and care to neglect the detaisl surrounding us, makin things more and more grey....On the other hand I reckon this song is one of those, the a group releases after their breakthrough, criticizing themselves before anyone else, judging what success may have done to them....
Now who on earth can forgot the tone deaf acoustic guitar riff, in the first minute of the extended version of the song? IF you were born 1995 you certainly don't count. Now this massive hit, it's about a guy who apparently "rocks the mirophone" and is a "freestyler" !
