Deborah Ann “Debbie” Gibson is a singer, songwriter, actress and producer who was born on August 31, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York. In 1998, Gibson had the number one hit single “Foolish Beat," making her the youngest female artist to writer, perform and produce a top single. In 2006, she reached the 24th spot on the adult contemporary chart with “Say Goodbye,” a duet with Jordan Knight. Gibson wrote all 10 songs on her 1987 debut album, Out of the Blue, which would eventually sell more than 5 million copies worldwide. Her 1989 follow up, Electric Youth, sold more than 4 million copies and topped the Billboard album chart for five weeks.

I know it's cheesy, but this is my go-to song whenever I want to recapture that feeling I had during my first crush. LOL. There's nothing quite like that feeling in your stomach when you fell in love for the first time. Everything seems new and fresh, and I can always count on this song to bring that moment back - brief as it might be.
