The typical blues fashion. A song about the love longing bluesman. About memories of past disheartment, past love relationship mistakes and hardships, falling in love once again and failing it, being left by the one you love. During the song the author is recalling those memories while listening/playing blues music, quoted by ''But i still got the blues for you''.
