Biography
Singer-songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov was born in 1979 in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a child, he immigrated to the United States and grew up in Philadelphia. He began touring with a band at the age of 16 and has continued to travel since then, a source of much of his musical inspiration. Isakov released his first album, Rust Colored Stones, in 2003. Many of his songs have been used in commercials or television shows, including ads for McDonald’s and Subaru, and the shows Forever, Suits and Californication. He credits Leonard Cohen and Bruce Springsteen among his musical influencers.
