Born in Fullerton, CA in 1969, Gwen Stefani joined her brother Eric’s band No Doubt when she was 17, sharing vocals with John Spence. After Spence committed suicide in 1987, Stefani became the lead singer and the group was signed to Interscope Records in 1991 with the first album appearing in 1994. After breaking up with the band’s bassist, Gwen wrote the band’s third album, Tragic Kingdom, which brought No Doubt to the limelight. Stefani was named one of People Magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People”. She has had an influence on technology, fashion and film in addition to her music career.

This line makes me think of that old cliche "when a woman says "no" she actually means "yes"" and all the consequently drama they have to take from the believers of that saying, so, yeah, if a girl will say "NO" on repeat in your face, you will eventually have to believe she actually means that!
Maybe the most usual question to bother us when we start a relationship that actually could be reinterpreted as the anticipation to have it all and give it all, expecting to have the greatest time of our lives. I love this one, great collaboration as well. A proper summer song!
I wish this is for real, that two people madly in love they can be so good friends after some reasonable time, even after the worst breaking up ever - then I have something really funny to expect in the future. At this point it just looks impossible. But really now, did anyone make it to this point without tones of pretending?
