Jessie J is the stage name of Jessica Ellen Cornish, born on March 27, 1998 in London. The pop and R&B singer/songwriter began her career at 11 performing theater in London’s West End. She struck fame with the release of her debut single, “Do It like a Dude,” in 2010. Her debut album, Who Are You, was released the following year. I reckon, I probably must have heard no other song than Prodigy's "Firestarter" that the symbolism of "fire" is not used about passion and sexual desire; Jessie J's track is no exception, it's lust's fire, making her sweaty and dizzy and of course she will sing about it.
