Meghan Elizabeth Trainor is an American singer-songwriter and record producer. Born December 22, 1993 and raised in Nantucket, Massachusetts, Trainor got a lot of musical influence from her father, the local church pianist. She developed an ear for music at a young age and between the ages 15 and 17 she was writing and recording her own material until polishing three independently released songs. In 2011 she wanted to be a song writer but signed a record deal with Epic Records in 2014 to release a debut studio album, "Title" (2015).
