US progressive metal band
Started in 2004 by Misha Mansoor, Periphery got its start via Internet uploads and forums. During the period of 2005-2009, the guitarist worked with three vocalists: Casey Sabol, Chris Beretto and Jake Veredika, attempting to hone its contemporary metal sound. However, after starting recording on their debut album, the vocalist was replaced again, this time with Spencer Sotelo. That album was released in 2010. Periphery’s sound is metal, but with a more experimental sound. The current band members are Mansoor (guitar, producer, programmer), Sotelo (vocals), Nolly Netgood (bass), Matt Halpern (drums), Jake Bowen (guitar, programming) and Mark Halcomb (guitar).

My boyfriend really likes this song!! It came out 7 years ago and they are playing in our hometown in a couple months!!! Great song 10/10! Would reccomend this album to people reading this in 7 years!! Or any point in the future!! If there is one!! Because we are slowly destroying the earth! I guess you could say that the human race is like icarus and we are flying WAY too close to the sun, and when our wings melt, the earth will delve into a post-apocolyptic state not unlike scenes depicted in the popular netflix series The 100. Have a great day!!
Once you astral project. The demons do latch onto you, and fill you with hate. Make you do bad things, make you see bad things. They feed off of this hatred they are feeding you in a recycled frenzy. The singing portion of the song, is about how the demons disguise the astral plain to look Holy and beautiful.
