Thoughts on Songs with Rammstein
Rammstein are edgy. Are edgy when it comes to gigs, when it comes to cover art, when it comes to lyrics. However, they don't try to confuse you with counterfeit complexity, no no, they are firm and to the point. Listen to this chorus, then watch the video clip, showing indigenous people having a BigMac and a coke, on the moon and you'll get the picture without any doubts...

Rammstein took german in the foreground, their success was too much of an explosion to let people not minding what their lyrics are all about, since they have a militaristic image as a band... This song comes to clear things up for accusations for being right-wing. The chorus repeats the word "left", stating the obvious.
I do not speak German, alghough it's easy to comprehend what this is about, if you take a look on the video clip of the song. What I'd like to leave here is a comment of the lyrics' composer : "..It's about how easy is for homosexual men to come close to each other, as we heterosexual men, have to do all kinds of crap to impress to girls"
