Biography
The American rock band Spoon was formed in Austin, Texas in 1993. Members are Britt Daniels, Jim Eno, Rob Pope, Eric Harvey and Alex Fischel. After a series of independent releases, Spoon saw its first major label release in 1998 with the album Soft Effects. Their 2007 release Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga debuted in tenth place on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2010, Transference topped that, debuting in the number four spot. Spoon’s songs have been used in a large number of films and television shows, including Stranger than Fiction, The Simpsons and Veronica Mars.
