Biography
Formed in Toronto by Chris Seligman, Torquill Campbell and later Amy Millan and Evan Cranley, Stars’ first album, Nightsongs, was released in 2001. Popular in Montreal for their mix of indie rock and pop, the band continued to release new albums every two years to a growing indie following, ending with a remix album dubbed “Do You Trust Your Friends” in 2007. After starting the label Soft Revolution, the band released “The Five Ghosts”, a studio album, in 2010. Their sixth album was released with the label ATO in 2012, followed by “No One Is Lost” in summer of 2014.
