It's someone who is basically what the song says in the first line: it's someone stranded. It's a person with no direction, no clear path and no clear decision as to what to do. It's someone lost and lost people do stupid things. The song actually reminds me a lot of Skins, the series. To Effy, particularly. She's exactly the kind of person who would do anything to feel better. Try different drugs, sleep around, do everything without thinking and maybe that will be a way to escape reality. To stop seeing the problems and maybe like that the pain won't be there. Because if someone fills a soul with enough numbness, then one day the feeling won't be there anymore.
