Biography
Van Dyke Parks is an American composer, musician, producer, singer and songwriter. He developed a friendship with Brian Wilson in the mid-60s and subsequently contributed lyrics to several Beach Boys albums. Parks has released seven solo studio albums and made dozens of appearances on other records as a writer, musician or producer. Notable artists he has worked with include U2, The Byrds, Donovan, Tim Buckley, Silverchair, Ringo Starr and Kimbra.
