Los Angeles, California, United States
US heavy metal band
Born of the same Los Angeles musical scene as contemporaries like Van Halen and Motley Crue, the heavy metal band W.A.S.P. was formed in the city in 1982 and it quickly become one of the hottest West Coast metal bands. Described as "shock rock", they used lyrics and imagery that found the band a major target of organizations set on issuing warning labels on musical recordings. Though their rise to fame was meteoric, they also declined from the wider music scene by the end of the 80s, though they still maintain a dedicated following and perform live in all parts of the globe.

So he has to let go. It's about the old saying "if you love someone, let them go." It's so hard to do. It's such a sad song. All he wants to do is hold on, but his love is so great that he puts her happiness above his and lets go
