Weezer’s worldwide album sales have surpassed 17 million. The band’s 1994 self-titled debut album reached triple platinum thanks to the success of singles “Buddy Holly,” “Undone - The Sweater Song” and “Say It Ain’t So.” Their followup album, Pinkerton, saw mixed reviews and poor sales but was later deemed one of the best albums of the 1990s. After a hiatus, the band regrouped in 2001 with a new bassists. Weezer’s ninth album, Everything Will Be Alright in the End, came out in 2014.
