Yesterday, Will Smith made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote his latest movie, Focus. During a commercial break, Will decided to entertain the audience by performing the popular theme song from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Certainly, everyone knows the lyrics to this classic theme song. To prove it, Will made the audience participate by singing parts of the song.
The audience nailed it! They even did better than Will Smith the “Fresh Prince” himself. At one point it seems like Will either forgot the words or missed his reentry on the verse. Lucky for him, the “Fresh Prince” fans got his back as they sang all of it.
I say give Will a break. Not because I am a fan, but it’s been almost 20 years since the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air ended. I think we can let this one slide.
