Maroon 5 teams up with Cardi B for a new pretty girl’s anthem “Girls Like You” revolving around Adam Levine and his weakness for 10 out of 10 girls with Cardi B playing the feminine part for this song.
In the first verse Adam explains that he took some time out from his busy schedule to spend the day with what he considers his dream girl. But unfortunately, 24 hours are just not enough for him. In the pre-chorus and the chorus, the singer suggests that it was all worth it and that he lives to experience this type of feelings and moments with someone special next to him. To celebrate their get together the two lovers go out for some drinks and some fun when Adam starts spilling his feelings while realizing that he might be putting too much pressure on his partner. But in the end he asks her to take him home and to spend another night together to make things perfect.
