While many songs describe the blue-collar life and small towns to a T, some songs promote negative feelings and emotions such as excessive drinking, jingoism, and one of the biggest offenders of them all, cheating.&nbsp;On the other hand,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/artist\/andy-grammer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Andy Grammer<\/a>\u2019s single &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/song\/andy-grammer-honey-im-good-lyrics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Honey, I\u2019m Good<\/a>&#8221; does the opposite of that which may be the key to its success. The song describes a man who is staying faithful to his wife, even when in the face of temptation. Being a pop-country song, the lyrics are not too difficult to figure out<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<a class=\"view-lyrics row no-gutters text-center\" href=\"\/song\/andy-grammer-honey-im-good-lyrics\/\"><div class=\"col-12 col-sm-2 py-2\"><p><i class=\"fad fa-list-music lyrics-icon\"><\/i><\/p><\/div><div class=\"col-12 col-sm-10 py-2\"><p class=\"font-weight-bold\">Honey, I'm Good<br \/><span class=\"shrink-70 text-darkgray\">View Song Lyrics Here!<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/a>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Lesson&nbsp;in the Music<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The song seems to take place in a bar, from the point of view of a husband who is there to unwind, but not to get some. He seems to be talking to a woman he met at the bar who wants to start a relationship with him, but as the song\u2019s title explains, he tells the woman<q> I\u2019m good<\/q>&nbsp;meaning he doesn\u2019t want to cheat with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He acknowledges that she\u2019s pleasing to the eye, saying her long legs are <q>damn near everywhere<\/q>&nbsp;and that she looks <q>good, I will not lie,<\/q>&nbsp;but he is in love with his wife and doesn\u2019t think it\u2019s ethical to have a woman on the side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grammer does address that many men have fallen into temptation some <q>better men than me.<\/q>&nbsp;Having a drink too many at the bar, or <q>drinking from that unholy grail,<\/q>&nbsp;tends to be the motivator. Alcohol can slow judgment, increase impulse, and make someone more sexual, but Grammer manages to have enough to unwind after a long day, but not enough to cheat on his wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Which is why this is a nice song lyrically. We need more music that promotes staying faithful to one person instead of bragging about how many women a person has slept with.
