According to Rolling Stone magazine, the single &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/song\/guns-n-roses-welcome-to-the-jungle-lyrics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Welcome to the Jungle<\/a>&#8221;&nbsp;is the greatest sports anthem, while VH1 lists the song as the best hard rock song ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The song creates an authentic jungle atmosphere, and if you ever get lost in great guitar riffs, and all the <q>sha-na-na-na-na-na-na-na knees<\/q>, Axl Rose will gladly remind you where you are. The single is performed by nine members of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/artist\/baha-men\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Baha Men<\/a>, and all of them but one have a dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The song \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/song\/baha-men-who-let-the-dogs-out-lyrics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Who Let the Dogs Out<\/a>\u201d is incredibly popular to this day, but it also has an unflattering title of being one of the most annoying songs of all time (according to Rolling Stone magazine). It\u2019s also said to be a terrible song&#8230; so terrible that Baha Men were in doubt whether to cover it or not&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Baha Men - Who Let The Dogs Out (Original version) | Full HD | 1080p\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Qkuu0Lwb5EM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3) Animals &#8211; Maroon 5<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The song \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/song\/maroon-5-animals-lyrics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Animals<\/a>\u201d, performed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/artist\/maroon-5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Maroon 5<\/a>, not only talks about the animal in people, but you can also hear the lead singer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/artist\/adam-levine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Adam Levine<\/a> howl. You can also hear the word <q>animal<\/q> 30 times in the song, and the song is supposed to wake the animal in people that rely on its instincts and spends hours lurking and watching its prey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, we need to make one thing clear: even though the song made it on our list, the music video for \u201cAnimals\u201d is beyond creepy. It got a lot of negative publicity and for a good reason. Since when stalking is perfectly normal? Sorry Adam, this was a bad call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Maroon 5 - Animals\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qpgTC9MDx1o?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4) Eye of the Tiger &#8211; Survivor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The only excuse you can have for not knowing the theme song from the movie Rocky III, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/song\/survivor-eye-of-the-tiger-lyrics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Eye of the Tiger<\/a>\u201d, is if you lived under a rock for the past 30 years. What\u2019s the song about? That\u2019s simple. It\u2019s about a man, <strong><em>just a man and his will to survive<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What not many people know is that \u201cThe Eye of the Tiger\u201d could have been called \u201cSurvival\u201d. Also, the song was slightly edited and guess who asked for changes to be made. Sylvester&nbsp;Stallone! Sly knows his music, or does he?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger (Official HD Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/btPJPFnesV4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5) Animals &#8211; Martin Garrix<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The song \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/song\/martin-garrix-animals-radio-edit-lyrics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Animals<\/a>\u201d is the second song on our list with that name. Earlier, we talked about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/artist\/maroon-5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Maroon 5<\/a>, and their song with the same title, but now we want to talk about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/artist\/martin-garrix\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Martin Garrix<\/a> \u2013 a Dutch producer, DJ, and musician. At the time song was released (June 2013), Martin was only 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnimals\u201d is an instrumental, and it has only two lines of text (one line actually, that repeats two times). The single had major success, and till this day it has over 650 million views. Listeners described \u201cAnimals\u201d as a song that is primitive, yet so powerful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Martin Garrix - Animals (Official Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gCYcHz2k5x0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6) Free Bird &#8211; Lynyrd Skynyrd<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The next song we\u2019re going to talk about is \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/song\/lynyrd-skynyrd-free-bird-lyrics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Free Bird<\/a>\u201d performed by American rock band <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/artist\/lynyrd-skynyrd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Lynyrd Skynyrd<\/a>. This power ballad was released in 1974, and it features one of the best guitar solos (according to music magazine Guitar World).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The band was working on the song for two years. Lynyrd Skynyrd\u2019s guitarist, Allen Collins wrote the music for the song, and the lead singer of the band, Ronnie Van Zant wrote the lyrics. What\u2019s also interesting is that Lynyrd Skynyrd record company thought \u201cFree Bird\u201d was too long, and they were in doubt whether it should be on the album or not. Regardless of the song\u2019s length (10:08), the song made it to the album, and today it is included in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame&#8217;s 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/D0W1v0kOELA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7) Wild Horses &#8211; The Rolling Stones<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>How can we leave out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/artist\/the-rolling-stones\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Rolling Stones<\/a>? The band that has been making hits for 50+ years. On our list of songs that make you feel like an animal, we have their song \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/song\/the-rolling-stones-wild-horses-lyrics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Wild Horses<\/a>\u201d. According to Rolling Stone magazine, \u201cWild Horses\u201d is one of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This soothing, yet melancholic song was released in 1971. Two brilliant minds, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/artist\/mick-jagger\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Mick Jagger<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/artist\/keith-richards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Keith Richards<\/a> wrote \u201cWild Horses\u201d, with Keith writing the melody and the chorus, and Mick the rest of the lyrics. 34 years later, this song is still one of the most beautiful Stones\u2019 songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Rolling Stones - Wild Horses (Acoustic \/ Lyric Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SQTHB4jM-KQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8) She Wolf \u2013 Shakira<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Next on our list is a Colombian singer known for her belly dancing talent, and she happens to be incredibly smart (has an IQ of 140), and she speaks 5 languages fluently \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/artist\/shakira\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Shakira<\/a>. Her single \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/song\/shakira-she-wolf-lyrics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">She Wolf<\/a>\u201d was released in 2009, and she co-wrote the song and was one of the producers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shakira talked about the song in one of her interviews explaining the song meaning and the crafting process. This Latin musical sensation only needed 10 minutes to write \u201cShe Wolf\u201d (both the lyrics and melody) and she was having a bad. If she\u2019d had a great day when writing the song, the song would\u2019ve been done in a matter of seconds!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cShe Wolf\u201d is a song about a woman who knows exactly what she wants, and she\u2019s not afraid to go after it. She doesn\u2019t want to feel <q>like a coffee machine in an office<\/q>, and being in touch with her animal side she instinctively seeks the things she craves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio wp-embed-aspect-4-3\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Shakira - She Wolf (Official HD Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/booKP974B0k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9) When Doves Cry \u2013 Prince<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The next song that makes you feel like an animal is the song of the year 1984 (Billboard). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/artist\/prince\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Prince<\/a> produced and wrote the lyrics for the single \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/song\/prince-when-doves-cry-lyrics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">When Doves Cry<\/a>\u201d which had a worldwide success (2 million copies sold).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s an interesting story related to why the singer used the phrase <q>when doves cry<\/q> in the song. Namely, Prince had a studio in Minneapolis during the 80s, and unfortunately for Prince, the city was overwhelmed with pigeons at that time. The Purple One (one of Prince\u2019s many nicknames) had a close encounter with a pigeon that thought Prince\u2019s favorite purple blouse is the perfect \u201cbathroom for pigeons\u201d. The singer was frustrated with these animals, and before a beautiful masterpiece was released (\u201cWhen Doves Cry\u201d), Prince wrote a song \u201cThis Is What Happens When U S**t on My Favorite Blouse\u201d. The song, of course, was never released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Prince &amp; The Revolution - When Doves Cry (Official Music Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UG3VcCAlUgE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10) I am the Walrus \u2013 The Beatles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Last on our list is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/artist\/the-beatles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Beatles<\/a>\u2019 song that is said to be one of their strangest ones \u2013 \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyreka.com\/song\/the-beatles-i-am-the-walrus-lyrics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">I Am the Walrus<\/a>\u201d. The lyrics of this song are quite confusing, but there\u2019s a reason for that. Namely, a student from Quarry Bank High School (that John Lennon attended) sent Lennon a letter, explaining that their English teacher insisted his class analyzes Beatles\u2019 songs.
