The Love Song Lyrics

I got a crush on a pretty pistol
Should I tell her that I feel this way?
Father told us to be faithful

I got a crush on a pretty pistol
Should I tell her that I feel this way?
I got love songs in my head
Killing us away

Do you love your guns? Yeah
God? Yeah
And Government?
Do you love your guns? Yeah
God? Yeah
And Government?
Fuck yeah

I got love songs in my head
Killing us away
I got love songs in my head
Killing us away She tells me I'm a pretty bullet
Gonna be a star some day
Momma says that we should look away
She tells me I'm a pretty bullet
An imitation Christ I got love songs in my head
Killing us away

Do you love your guns? Yeah
God? Yeah
And Government?
Do you love your guns? Yeah
God? Yeah
And Government?
Do you love your guns? Yeah
God? Yeah
And Government?
Do you love your guns? Yeah
God? Yeah
And Government?
Fuck yeah

I got love songs in my head
Killing us away
I got love songs in my head
Killing us away
I got love songs in my head
Killing us away

Do you love your guns? Yeah
God? Yeah
And Government?
Do you love your guns? Yeah
God? Yeah
And Government?
Do you love your guns? Yeah
God? Yeah
And Government?
Do you love your guns? Yeah
God? Yeah
And Government?
Fuck yeah

Thoughts & Meanings

The Love song is pure awesomeness. Witty and angry, deep bass on verses and erupting choruses. Lyrically is describing a dialogue between a gun and a bullet in a love affair. Of course it is a brilliant symbolism one of those that justify Manson's frantic fanbase. The bullet and the gun need to perform love action, which is nothing else, than combining themselves in order to eliminate government and God.
