Come on over
It's not easy
To see all of you
Help is on the way
Well there's nothing to lose
So now, I have something to say
Maybe we can all recognize a moment of sadness
Maybe we can finally agree on a sane point of view
A long time ago we believed that we were united
So the last thing on Earth I am ready to do is say, goodbye
A long time ago we discovered that nothing could stop us
This hasn't torn us apart, so nothing ever will
How can we know where we are if the sun is beyond us
But this moment will show us the rest of our lives
No one is going to save us this time
No one can know what we're feeling, in that I may trust

I'm 99.9% sure this is a song that is extremely tied to Paul Gray's death. The lyrics " A long time ago we believed that we were united -- So the last thing on Earth I'm ready to do is say, Goodbye" probably has a lot to do with Slipknot not wanting to give up because of Paul Gray's death... Yet at the same time they want to say it in an endearing mannerism, if you actually hear the way it is sung.

This is a song about Slipkot, as much it is about Paul Gray, It's about the unity between the band's members, and although it's about the typical boring band concept (always considering their bond like a team's or like a family's) a light of thriumph is raising here!
