You can't not love that video clip (in fact the song couldn't exist without the video clip) so the concept is this: They have won a prize for a boat ride for three and they have to split it... Split it because well, they might be three, but T-Pain has joined! Eventually one is left off and he's doomed to suffer this mockery!
Although it does not have anything to do with Justin Timberlake, every time I hear this hook I cannot refrain from getting that reminder of that old song "You're so Vain" which in a similar way it uses very simple words but somehow, you're absolutely sure that the corresponding person, the one who this is directed to, will have 0.0% chances of not getting it.
Has anybody out there ever received that kind of line? The "I think I love you" or "I think I'm in love with you" kind of line? The most frustrating part is that usually the person who's saying that, he does look having all the confidence that reveals he/she actually means that, so why on earth would one spoil that by adding the nasty ingredient of doubt, or rather, lack of total completion there?
