The mission here was to do a simple fact check on this statement about not wearing white. I found some truth in it but after searching the entire web I was able to find maybe 2 pic with the Weeknd wearing a white shirt. For sure The Weeknd definetly wears black 95% of the time, 4.99% he wears some other dark color and .01% maybe a white shirt with back writings. LOL!

The song focuses on the acknowledgment of his drug addiction and the consequences that my follow. Despite him knowing, he continues to use because it bring satisfaction and "he loves it". In the song he makes reference to a female, but this is not a person. "She" is a alias for the drugs so don't be confused.

Weeknd is obviously aware of how dangerous and life threatening it is to continue using drugs in the way that he does and if it does end his life early he finds comfort in knowing that he will be remember as he is today. (Young!)

As we all know this song isn't the typical track that we would expect from Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick spoke about the inspiration of this song on an Interview at The Breakfast Club.
The inspiration came while taking to some of the older people in his neighborhood. That conversation influenced him to do song that is out of the norm and send a positive influence into the community.
It is a song of self worth, empowerment and strength through tough times. Essentially, throughout all the hardship one must learn to love oneself despite others who may try to do you hard and pull you down.

This is all about getting some good head. The term "Disappear like magic" could mean his girl is good at giving very deep falacio to the point that it's all the way in or she swallow!

The moral of the story here is, even thought your heart may be stretched too far, squeezed too tight or even stabbed too many times, it will always return to its perfect, beautiful shape because you’ve got an elastic heart.

Everyone has a limit. Once you go beyond the limit then "Another one bites the dust". Here the characteristics of elasticity under stressful conditions is used to describe her own behavior in a bad relationship.

Refusing to change who she really is. She is a person who wants to fall in love and be loved. So there is an emotional battle inside that must end in order to find peace. Like an elastic, she returns to her true self. A hopeless romantic.

Red flags symbolize warnings of danger. How many of us here wanted a relationship so bad that even if you knew it’s not going to last and that you’re just going to get hurt in the end, you still want it anyway? But it just didn’t work no matter how many mountains you’ve climbed and oceans crossed.
