Who is Judy Collins?

Judith Marjorie Collins is an singer/songwriter born on May 1, 1939 in Seattle, Washington. Collins has recorded in a variety of music styles, including pop, rock, show tunes, folk and standards. She released her debut album, A Maid of Constant Sorrow, in 1961. Six years later, her cover of “Both Sides Now” by Joni Mitchell brought Collins worldwide fame. Collins earned her first Grammy for the song. More success came in 1975 when Collins recorded “Send in the Clowns” from the Stephen Sondheim musical “A Little Night Music.” Collins has released 27 studio albums and four live albums.
