A collaboration with Skrillex and Diplo, Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” is the second single released last Friday, from his new album “Purpose” which incorporates the elements of Dancehall and Electronic Dance Music. His vocal manipulation added a sincere, warm, and exciting color to the song that wholeheartedly complements his apology.

Justin Bieber has been talking more about how he matured and decides to put his mischiefs behind him at age 21 to focus on his career.

Although JB is saying sorry, in an interview last month he stated that he would never take back his personal choices, instead, he is saying Sorry because it allows him to tell his own side of the story. We all know that JB has a timeline of biggest public apologies that he was never good at.

Is it Too Late for Justin to Say Sorry?

In the first verse of the song, he states his determination, with the hope that he has a chance to apologize for his mistakes before it’s too late.

When asked in an interview on Ellen last Monday, he admitted that the song is a little bit about his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez including “What Do You Mean” and “I’ll Show You”. He admitted half-truth which exposed the full truth.

When asked about a possible romantic reconciliation with Selena he replied,

I think we’re both just on our own journeys of figuring ourselves out. Maybe once [we do that] we can come together and make an awesome duo. Or she’ll find someone awesome and I’ll find someone awesome. He adds, I just want her to be happy.

Bieber misses her body, but there is a far more attachment to them which he is reminded of, he added every time he sees her on TV, it reminds him of her scent.

Yeah, Is it too late now to say sorry?
Cause I’m missing more than just your body

He’s implied that their connection, is more than a physical one. We are not really sure what that mistake was but whatever it was, Selena admitted in an interview on Refinery29 that “we both made mistakes”. Justin also mentioned it in the second verse of the song.

I’ll take every single piece of the blame if you want me to
But you know that there is no innocent one in this game for two

It is as clear as water in the 2nd verse to the bridge of the song that JB still emotionally attached to Selena and still hopes for another chance, although there are hints of tension between them, she seems uninterested anymore as she fires back with her new song “Same Old Love” from his album “Revival

Justin Bieber talks about how he continuously adapt to sadness and Isolation as he sits in a hotel room feeling the intensity of paparazzi and fans who follow him everywhere, is a struggle that can get discouraging.

He relates to the narrative of Amy Winehouse’s life who struggled with fame.
