Widespread Panic Overview

Widespread Panic is a rock band which formed in 1986 in Athens, Georgia.  The band consists of John Bell (vocals, guitar), John "JoJo" Hermann (keyboards), Jimmy Herring (guitar), Dave Schools (bass) and Domingo "Sunny" Ortiz (percussion) plus drummers Todd Nance and Duane Trucks. Former founders Michael Houser and George McConnell also played lead guitar for the band. The band were renowned for their live performances, and as of 2013 held sold out records at Philips Arena (Atlanta, Georgia) and Red Rocks Amphitheatre (Morrison, Colorado). They gave away their first live CD “Light Fuse, Get Away” attracting a crush of 100,000 happy fans at the stores.
