Who is Cashmere Cat?
A DJ by the name of Magnus August Hoiberg is the true name of Cashmere Cat. Born in Norway in 1987, he emerged into the world of electronic dance music in 2012 after competing in professional DJ championships for several years. With the release of his first album he also garnered a ranking in VIBE magazine as the top of the "25 Awesome Genre-Benders" of that year. Relocating to New York City allowed him to work with such artists as Ariana Grande, Usher and Kanye West among others. With four albums to his credit, and a long list of singles reaching into the charts, this DJ and artist continues to develop a major fan base around the world.
