Distrubed was formed in 1996 in Chicago. The heavy metal band included Dan Donegan (guitar), Fuzz (bass), Mike Wengren (drums) when it began, later picking up David Draiman for vocals in 1997. The band’s first album, The Sickness, dropped in 2000, and their fame grew after appearing on the 2001 Ozzfest main stage. Disturbed’s second album, Believe, hit in 2002, quickly making its way to the Top 200. Shortly after, Fuzz was replaced with John Moyer, and the group produced three more albums by 2012. In 2011, the band announced an indefinite hiatus, finally returning in 2015 with the album Immortalized.
