Kylie Ann Minogue, OBE (born 28 May 1968) is an Australian singer, businessman, and fashion icon. She has received many awards throughout her illustrious career, including 1 Grammy Award, 3 Brit Awards, and 17 ARIA Music Awards, to name a few! Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Minogue is an actress and recording artist best known for her role as tomboy mechanic Charlene Robinson on the soap opera Neighbours. She rose to stardom in the late 1980s after signing a contract with the record company Stock Aitken Waterman and subsequently releasing four chart-topping singles like "I Should Be So Lucky," "The Loco-Motion," "Especially For You," and "Wouldn't Change A Thing."

In 2011, Kylie received a Doctor of Health Science degree from Anglia Ruskin University for her activism regarding cancer. In 2011, Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) inducted Kylie into their Hall of Fame at the annual award ceremony. In addition, Kylie is now a member of the Order of Australia (AO) in the 2019 Australia Day Honours.
