Who is Black Eyed Peas?
An entirely unique sound has made The Black Eyed Peas a critical and commercial success since first emerging on the scene in the 2000s. Formed in Los Angeles in 1995, the group is comprised of Fergie, will.i.am, Taboo, and apl.de.ap. They managed to reach platinum status on three albums in less than five years. With a hip hop and dance sound, the group initially struggled to find an audience for its new and still evolving sound. By the time they hired Fergie to do the vocals on a 2003 album, they had created a flawless sound that drove them to triple platinum status.
