One of those songs that is a bit tricky with its title. If you've never heard it before, happy ending seems like it's going to be a happy song. Still, it's the complete contrary. It's about love but in a general way. We all fall in love at some point and get full on with someone. We are ready to risk it all and promise that what we're feeling will last for eternity, that we'll always be there for the other person through everything. And not just in a romantic relationship, in friendship and even in family happens a lot too. We love fiercely, it's what we dream about and what we intend to do every time. The problem with fierce is that it doesn't last. It can't last forever. It's a too strong emotion. It can stay momentarily, but not for a too long period of time. And sometimes the fierce side vanishes and what is left is not something that we like. So we move away from it, we leave it. And all those promises we once made are long gone and forgotten. And where is the happy ending then?
