He makes a clear message to the ladies, letting them know that even though he enjoys their company, he warns not to get attached because he won't. The song's main theme is the moodiness of the women they date and how it changed #24kGoldn and #ianndior mood also. An interesting part of the lyrics is explaining how it's not just guys playing games in the relationship but also the women. It sounds like 24kGoldn and iann dior has their hands full with ladies who are moody and manipulative.

Now if one is to look into the lyrics from a literal narrative, it is clearly about an astronaut who has the misfortune of being on a fatal mission. The spacecraft he is inhabiting has failed, he will not make it back to Earth, his mission is a failure and he will perish in space, never to hold his loved ones again, never able to say his final farewells to his loving family and friends.

Perhaps the astronaut story is but a metaphor for someone who feels alienated, who can't quite fit into the crowd like everyone else, and is finding trouble assimilating comfortably into society. There are various emotions on display throughout the song, from regret, to fear, to sorrow, to selflessness.

This could mean either the literal interpretation, that the spacecraft has gone dead and is now floating about aimlessly, or the esoteric example, his mind is swimming and he is indecisive, swinging through the motions in a society he can't seem to fit into.
