Who is AC/DC?

AC/DC is a rock band from Sydney, Australia, which was founded in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. The band is known as a hard rock or blues rock band, and their hard-hitting style influenced the development of heavy metal. Their released their debut album High Voltage in February, 1975, and have released a total of 17 studio albums. The band initially found success with frontman Bon Scott, until his death in February 1980 following a heavy drinking session. Five months later the band released Back in Black with English singer Brian Johnson, and the album went on to become the second highest-selling album in history. AC/DC has sold 200 million records worldwide, making them one of the highest-selling bands of all time.
