I was all right for a while, I could smile for a while
But I saw you last night, you held my hand so tight
As you stopped to say "Hello"
Aw you wished me well, you couldn't tell
That I'd been crying over you, crying over you
Then you said "so long". left me standing all alone
Alone and crying, crying, crying crying
It's hard to understand but the touch of your hand
Can start me crying
I thought that I was over you but it's true, so true
I love you even more than I did before but darling what can I do
For you don't love me and I'll always be
Crying over you, crying over you
Yes, now you're gone and from this moment on
I'll be crying, crying, crying, crying
Yeah crying, crying, over you

Some of the most poignant lines in a song, maybe because they are really very simple and at the same time so true. And the awesome rhythm doesn't hurt either. it's that exact moment where you see that person that broke your heart in so many ways and you see him or her in a randome situation like out with some friends or in a bar or in the middle of the street and they just say hi like it's so natural and like there isn't a painful past where he had to make the same effort to forget you and once he leaves, you are a mess all over again and you wonder if maybe it's the same for the other person as well.
