Origin Story
Like Drev Said 1999, that's the year my daddy walked into the bank and found a dime
No really, they were married 21 days later
Nah that ain't look real good on paper, getting married to a stranger
She was pregnant, with a baby boy it made him happy
Thinking he could love him brought him joy, he did it gladly
Fast forward to 01, that's when he came around the one that they call the one

They worked hard brought their kids up taught em lessons, about God
He had two other blessings
They were quite a few years older probably right around seven
And yeah they had their problems arguments on the daily
Probably drove each other crazy, a few times things were shaky
But they found a way to pull through
By putting trust in the Lord yeah their love grew, so did the kids
One by one they all grew up by the second
His baby girl got wed, had her own little blessings
Then Jesus to him home, left em all with depression
But here's the lesson, that may be the reason they reach heaven, wow
